Methanol is a toxic chemical. It can cause coma, blindness, even DEATH. Liquid methanol is clear, colorless, flammable and slightly smelling of alcohol. In industrial scale, methanol is produced by reacting hydrogen (H2) with carbon monoxide (CO).
Methanol is chemicals that is very close to our lives. one of many goods that using methanol in the production process is PET bottles which we use everyday.
Then what is the benefits of methanol in our lives? Below are some uses of methanol:

- Methanol is a mixture of anti-freeze in cooling water, the temperature can reach 0 degrees Celsius.
