Adware was detected with Avast! Home Edition
Avast! is an antivirus set that is able to detect the presence of viruses in computers. It has a powerful OS kernel integration to schedule a boot-time scan, improved resident protection, heuristic analysis for email, and a script blocker. The program works great as an on-demand resident virus scanner. The skinable interface is simple and easy to use for any user.
Avast! Home Edition is good enough to block the virus and/or mov it to virus chest (quarantine). I’ve been using it for more than two years. So far my computer has not been infected with a virus or worm. When connected to the Internet I combine it with ZoneAlarm free version. There may be other opinions?
